Devlog #2 - Writing, content, execution, scope, lewds, demo!
Play the demo!
So I’m pretty much finished with the writing part. I had to switch to excel for writing the last scene, just to manage the variables in a sensible way. I’ve just really got to figure out how many endings I’m willing to actually put in, and figure out some ‘good ending’ of some kind. Maybe no good ending though, because everything is bad. I’ve got the UI partially done. I’m planning on some character images to use for characters, but I’d like to keep them 1-2 colors, silhouettes and outlines, dark images, so the player can fill in the blanks themselves. I’m also considering whether or not to I’ve made one music track so far, not sure whether to make one long track or individual songs… There will be some more audio to add to the ambience (car motor, footsteps, etc). I’m thinking the full game will take 45 minutes to an hour to play.
There is a lot to do and some big holes to fill still. I’m open to any suggestions, questions, and ideas about it. I chose to share this project’s development and demo to get some outside input and suggestions, things that I usually wouldn’t let effect development. Please let me know what you think. Thanks for reading if you made it here.
